Photography has become my way of thinking and form of expression, doing a much better job than any words can.
So, welcome to my inner monologue.
Photography, for me, is a gateway into a person’s view of life.
It allows you to capture fleeting moments and relive those memories as time goes on.
Sarhely is a California-based film photographer who grew up in Santa Ana, lived in New Orleans throughout her formative years and has spent the past three years in Seattle before retuning home. At 18 she picked up her first film camera and hasn’t stopped shooting since. Photography reconnected her to her creativity; giving her a sense of purpose, a love to create and a desire to capture the beauty around her. She shoots predominantly in 35mm and 120 film; recently diving into darkroom processing.
